Rawson Lake – Interpretive Sign Installation – Wed, Aug 23

August 23 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

We continue to assist Parks with updating interpretive trail signs in K-Country. New signs were installed on Heart Creek Trail in 2016. Next to be installed are the 6 Rawson Lake Signs. This is a new trail to be included as a designated 'interpretive trail'.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meeting time: 9:30am (9:30am – 3 pm)

Meeting location: Upper Kananaskis Lakes Day Use - by the Upper Kananaskis Lake trail head (that leads to Rawson Lake trail head)

Number of people: 5/day

What to expect: There will be a 60 - 90 minute hike to the sign locations that need to be installed. Part 1 of this project includes carrying tools and material to dig 5 holes (about 18 inches deep) and pour concrete. The level of effort will be moderate-hard.
