The Friends of Kananaskis Country, in compliance with our charitable status, allocates funds collected through donations and fundraising for initiatives and programs directly related to the promotion of resource protection, visitor enjoyment and heritage appreciation of Kananaskis Country which align with the mandates of Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation. The call for proposals is the process in which the Kananaskis Country Management Area and other groups with interests in Kananaskis Country may apply for funding available through The Friends of Kananaskis Country.
