Announcing the Great Friends of Kananaskis Photo Contest!
 

It's your chance to be famous! We're looking for your best shots of Kananaskis country.

The top 12 shots will grace the monthly FOKC newsletter masthead from May 2013 to April 2014.
The top 2 photos will be turned into the official Kananaskis annual poster, published by Alberta Parks and handed out in the visitor's centres and information offices!

All 12 winners will also receive a great swag pack from the Friends, and
the top 2 poster winners will each get both a swag pack and $75!

Here's the contest rules:

  1. The contest opens April 1, 2013
  2. All entries must be received by April 30th 2013 at 11:59 PM.
  3. Limit 5 entries per person.
  4. Entries must be submitted via e-mail to FOKC2013Contest@gmail.com, and accompanied by this release form (click here to download form).
  5. Photos must be a minimum resolution of 5 megapixels (2560 x 1920) to be considered for the posters, but all photo sizes can win the swag pack and be featured in the newsletter masthead.
  6. The contest is open to all.
  7. Photos must have been taken within Kananaskis Country
  8. If they contain images of people, the individuals in the photographs must be prepared to sign a separate release allowing their likeness to be used.
