It's your chance to be famous! We're looking for your best shots of Kananaskis country.
The top 12 shots will grace the monthly FOKC newsletter masthead from May 2013 to April 2014.
The top 2 photos will be turned into the official Kananaskis annual poster, published by Alberta Parks and handed out in the visitor's centres and information offices!
All 12 winners will also receive a great swag pack from the Friends, and
the top 2 poster winners will each get both a swag pack and $75!

The Friends partner with many local trail groups including the GBCTA.
The GBCTA's 3rd annual fundraiser, Tunes for Trails, is taking place Saturday, April 27 at the Bragg Creek Community Centre. Tickets are $25 and a silent and public auction are planned, along with midnight snacks great tunes from the band "Skuzzy and the Woodticks."

Kananaskis could use some help from its friends, and Friends of Kananaskis is looking for people to get involved in our Volunteer Trail Care program.

Trail Care in Kananaskis Country received a big boost this year as TransAlta Corporation continueing it's title sponsorship of the Friends of Kananaskis Country’s long-running Trail Care Initiative with its $25,000 contribution for 2013.
