Volunteers are the heart of Friends of Kananaskis Country. They are a driving force behind many of our programs and activities. Our successful trail care initiatives and many of the special events we organize or participate in are possible because individuals donate their time and energy.
If you feel a special connection to nature and wish to see the future generations enjoy the wild beauty of Kananaskis Country, why not consider volunteering for our Kananaskis trail care program? You’ll get out in nature, visit the parks and wild spaces of Kananaskis Country, meet new people, and make a difference to Alberta’s natural landscape.
Contact us to find out more information or sign up to be a volunteer. While you’re at it, why not become a member and subscribe to the Friends’ newsletter?
See our page on Volunteer Trail Care for more information on the 2013 season initiatives.
